A simple slide adjustment adjusts for any slice thickness from wafer thin up to a chunky 1/4 inch. Slices tomatoes, fruit, cheese, cold meats, and shreds cabbage for coleslaw. Cuts potatoes for chips and for home made crisps. A wave form base will sit securely on rims of bowls. Made in Germany.
