An easy-to-use, rotating dial adjusts the thickness of the straight blade (up to 3/8-inch thickness) and the julienne blade. You can make standard-cut French fries--or waffle fries with the included waffle blade--as well as thin julienne strips of carrots and other hard vegetables. The black safety food holder holds the food in place on the mandoline while slicing, and the folding legs are coated with non-slip rubber to offer additional support and protection on the counter top when slicing.
